What makes a qualified MLM lead? I’m sure you can name Viagra Jelly several ideas that come to mind. Anyone who has spent some time on the internet working in MLM has an idea of what this means, right?
For example:
You have to get the phone number…
They have to contact you first…
Anyone who visits your MLM website…
Sound familiar? Which ones are true? You may have tried all of these. Let’s bring it down a notch.
Lead Sellers with Megaphones
Too often, the companies selling opp-seeker, or opportunity seeker leads dominate this conversation. Maybe you have even spent some money with them in the past. No harm done, I hope.
Maybe you learned something.
These companies are good at what they do, and many sell excellent leads. The trouble is, these companies carry a megaphone – they get as much exposure as possible propecia 10 years to say that they are selling qualified MLM lead lists.
On the other hand, their collection methods would suggest that they are collecting generic leads. You know, you go their site, and it can’t discuss one company. If their site does that, the lead would be upset when another company calls.
They have to be generic. They offer prequalified MLM leads, but not people who are interested in your business.
Is that a qualified lead? For many, yes. I won’t argue with their business model. If you have success using these leads, that’s fine. Go for it, and I hope you make it big.
Just remember, there are only so many genealogy lists you can buy, and if you teach your people to do that, then you have more people trying to buy them than before.
I suggest there are 3 secrets to qualified MLM leads.
1. Interest in You
The leads you gather should have some reason for liking you. Not your company, but YOU.
This should remind you of your warm market. In your war market, you know every one that you will present your MLM to. Every good lead should have a reason to like you.
I’ll give you a couple:
They like your website that you write personally. ;o)
They like the guru that you sent them to. The link here is less strong, but still a link. If you sent them to Mike Dillard or Ann Sieg for the first time, they might appreciate that.
2. Desire to Succeed
Next, they should have a desire to succeed, to win, to build a business, to earn a large income.
In many cases, a person cialis price with this desire will seek information everywhere. If you can offer it to them, they will give you their information – become a lead – to get the information.
Good Trade.
3. Business Alignment
Third, they like or feel aligned with your business. This can become, as Seth Godin calls it, a meatball sundae. In other words, if you tell them something to get their information that turns out to be not likely, you have been misaligned – like trying to sell someone a meatball sundae.
Here’s another way to look at it. If I tell you I will hire you to place ads for $75/hr, you might be interested. Then, when you find out you have to buy a book to learn how to do this, and that it isn’t a job, but a business, you most often won’t buy the book, but will leave my site.
In looking for qualified MLM leads, you might say something like no selling, or no phone calls. Be careful – can you really promise that? Some can – and that’s great.
It’s best to keep your promises aligned with what’s possible, and you’ll get more leads.
Putting It Together
To make this work, you should become a more valuable person. Stick your neck out a bit, and see what you do to help people. They will give you’re their information and become a lead if they see and feel that you are honest and trustworthy.
