Building Basics of Home Gyms
Even after training in professional, commercial gyms, many have found greater benefits in exercising in a home gym. There are many benefits and drawbacks, but the equipment you have will make much of the difference and you will own it instead of paying regular fees to another establishment.
Home gyms are a way to get away from the intimidating commercial gyms. They are also time efficient so you will no longer have to wait for the power rack or treadmill to open up.
You also will save money and time on driving back and forth several times a week. Eventually you will also cut costs as you are investing in equipment and not paying monthly membership fees.
The equipment is something that does not lose value, so you can always sell it and reap a generous sum in return. You will also have the freedom to use the equipment however you would like.
Sometimes commercial establishments do not allow dead lifts and chalk to be used. Now you can also have all the equipment you want open to you all the time.
There may be a few drawbacks of home equipment that you should be aware of. For instance, you may be exercising alone unless you invite friends and your family to join you.
It will require much self-discipline as you will be the only one motivating yourself during heavy sets or getting yourself to start each workout. You may also be lacking a spotter during heavy squats or bench presses.
There will also not be anyone to hand out the weight on the bench press unless you have a workout buddy or two. So, you could be on your own which may or may not be for you.
You will also need the appropriate amount of space in your home to dedicate to your fitness equipment. Often times, that much equipment will require a lot of space which you may or may not have.

They should also be strong enough to handle weights up to 1000 lbs to account for any growth in squats you should make. The safety pins should be lateral that you can set up at multiple heights; these safety pins catch the bar if you miss a lift.
