With everything in one convenient strip, Las Vegas also offers many resources in the way of transportation. Not on the strip itself, the Las Vegas Monorail runs on the east side of the it from Tropicana Ave to the Sahara Road.
Also, the RTC Transit provides a double decker bus ride on the strip known as The Deuce. This bus runs from Mandalay Bay at the southern tip of the strip to the Downtown Transportation Center near the Fermont Street Experience and has stops by every casino.
A tourist trolley service is another transportation option that travels all over the Strip and stops at many Strip hotels, but not all. It is sure to stop by Fashion Show Mall and costs $3 for a one way ticket or $7 for an all day pass; exact change is required and it makes stops at 15 minute intervals.
There are also many Brand Viagra trams that operate free of charge on the west side of the strip. Those include the Mandalay Bay Tram and the City Center Tram.
If none of those suit your needs, then there are plenty of taxi cabs to holler at for a ride. As well, there are shuttles for specific casinos that require a room key to enforce company policies.
However, do not over look walking. Walking is often the preferred way to get around town.
You get to take in all the sights, stop whenever you would like and get exercise at the same time. Walking may allow you opportunities to see never-before-seen sights up close, so walk as much as you can.
So, unlike many travel destinations, Vegas is one where travel will not be a large expense or a great concern. Also, if you stay at a great resort, you may not even have to leave the premises to have a great experience full of fun and memories.
However, there are also a few golf courses that are not as frequently mentioned, many of which are also located right on the strip for more entertainment. The Wynn Las Vegas replaced a golf course owned by the Mirage Resorts and is a completely remodeled golf course that provides tee times for hotel guests only.
Additionally in 2000, Bali Hai Golf Club opened just south of Mandalay Bay and the Strip for more golf action. So, be sure to bring your clubs and take a swing at what Vegas has to offer by means of golfing adventures.
