Night Life In San Francisco

San Francisco has wonderful night life. Starting with the outdoor events, ending with Sports Bar and Irish Bars in San Francisco. We went there last summer and enjoyed walking around watching the artist, the mimes, the musicians, the street vendors sell their wares. We enjoyed Pier 39 at Fisherman’s Wharf along with all the shops, attractions, aquarium, wax museum, I really enjoyed the stained glass museum and enjoyed the artisan of that lost art. I love crowds of people, I love to window shop and I love to be out at night when there people about.

The locals showed us the best place for chowder, sour dough bread and other Tadalis SX local delicacies. We ran into hordes of Chinese military who loved taking their picture with our beautiful, blonde haired daughter. They took picture after picture with her, vying for position next to her. She was taller than all of them. It was a good time. We wandered China town, saw the production of Chinese fortune cookies, made by hand by 3 ladies who make tens of thousands of cookies a month in the middle of a warehouse. We explored Little Italy, enjoyed the crowds at the Sports Bars in San Francisco who were very enthusiastic in their support of the local teams. We rode the Trolley Cars and the Hop on and Hop off bus.

We toured Alcatraz Island and learned of the plight of prisoners who were assigned there. The SS Jerimaiah O’Brian Liberty Ship was also on our short list along with the Maritime Museum and USS Pampanito Submarine.

No one can visit the Wharf area without a treat at Ghirardelli Square for a hot fudge sundae. Things are a lot quieter if you visit during the winter months and San Francisco get awfully cold at night. It is actually quite cool there year round so dress appropriately especially after the sun goes down. If you are bringing children along make sure they see the seals at Pier 39, stinky, huge sea lions barking their big heads off for no apparent reason.

Visit the Irish Bar in San Francisco or the Sports bars to have a little sitting time before heading bach out for more fun. They are an experience in and of themselves. San Fracisco truly has something for everyone, especially if you love to walk! A great city that has plenty to do during the day and comes to life at night.
