Assuming, however, you are getting the real thing, there is still reason for concern.

As mentioned previously, Botox is essentially a poison that paralyzes muscle tissues. If you inject it into the wrong area or at the wrong dosage, you may very well end up with unintended results, ranging from awkward and uncomfortable droopy spots or frozen spots on your face, to complete paralysis or stroke if the toxin spreads to other parts of the body.

It is safe to say that the drug is controlled by prescription for a reason. The low price of at-home Botox or other brand name kits may be appealing, but is it really worth risking your life to get your wrinkles removed at a discount?
