You may not have heard of the Chicago rock band OK Go. But I can guarantee that you’ve seen one of their music videos, even if you have no idea who they are.

That’s because OK Go made a music video in 2006 for their hit song “Here It Goes Again” that has become one of the most popular internet sensations of all time. It took YouTube and the world by storm!

The video made its long-awaited debut on YouTube on July 31, 2006, the same day that “Here It Goes Again” appeared on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown.

It was an absolute worldwide sensation. As of March 2010, it has been viewed over 50 million times.

This puts it as the 42nd most watched movie on YouTube. It has also won numerous awards for its creativity and spontaneity.

As with many viral movies on the internet, there have been many re-creations of it done by admiring fans or basically anybody who wants their 15 seconds of fame.
