Personally I’ve been using flash for over 10yrs and am very fond of it. It’s easy to use, very flexible, and has its own scripting format ‘action script’. Is it worth putting in the time to learn Jquery? I certainly think so, once you get to grips with it. It’s certainly a lot quicker to produce web content than flash. It has much greater possibilities. And I believe adds a more professional edge than flash. Obviously a lot of this depends on your ability with these platforms but Jquery produces extremely smart and professional features without the need of any animation ability.
