This theatre has footprints, handprints and signatures of many famous celebrities. They also host many premiers of movies and also have ceremonies honoring different celebs.

And of course while you are in Hollywood, you must take pictures of the Hollywood sign. Just to show all of your friends back home that you were really there!

Madame Tussauds is another exciting attraction full of wax figures of your favorite stars. Take pictures with them and show off the pictures to everyone you know.

Most likely they’ll think you really met the actual celeb since the wax figures look very lifelike. Also while you are in Hollywood, you could attend a TV show taping.

This activity may be better for older children. Plenty of talk shows, game shows and sitcoms offer free tickets to their live tapings.

It’s a great way to see the city if you do not have a lot of time. You can take trolley tours of the city, walking tours, and even a movie star homes tour.

This interesting tour will actually take you to the homes of some popular celebrities. Another fun tour to take is of Queen Mary, a “haunted” cruise ship.

A few other cool attractions to check out in L.A. are the Getty Center, La Brea Tar Pits, the Griffith Observatory, Olvera Street, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the California Science Center. All of these attractions are great and really just depend on what your family is interested in.

Some of these may be better spots if you have older children, but some of them are also great for young kids too. You are probably also wondering which hotels would be best to stay at with children.

If you are planning on going to Disneyland, many of the hotels in Anaheim are great for kids, because they expect a lot of kids to be staying there.
