First off you have to consider the fabric. I know it seems a little obvious, but it’s something people oftentimes overlook. Fabrics in general can make a boot be or not be of quality. By too dense, I mean that it won’t conform to your foot. You actually DO want them to break in a little bit so that they will be comfortable. Next is features. Every boot is going to have its own features! They might be for electrical hazards, insulated, waterproof, for specific “jobs” like welders, loggers, warehouse workers, etc.
