Chardonnay

Chenin Blanc is a relatively easy grape to grow and due to this it is produced in many countries around the world. The grape originates in the Loire region of France and is often blended with other grapes in Chablis, sparkling Californian wines as well as cheap table wines.

Gewurztraminer

This grape is very distinctive and would probably be easily flagged up in a blind taste test by many a wine-lover. It hails from the Alsace region of France and it is characterised by floral, fruity and spicy notes. This wine can be delicious to drink, but a little troublesome to pair with food unless you really know what you are doing.
