La Peraleja Golf Course

Murcia is home to yet another golf course of the highest quality, La Peraleja. Many European golfers will have followed Seve Ballesteros with great admiration as he will always remain an iconic figure. His name now bears with this magnificent golf course. Being regarded in the Murcia region as one of the best technical courses, golfers will be challenged at almost every turn with a wide variation in hole design. Golf Course Description
Hole 1: Par 5 – 495 metres
To reach the first hole at La Peraleja you will take a short walk through the tunnel as the anticipation of playing golf rises. Greeting you to La Peraleja golf course is this dog leg to the right. Requiring an accurate well placed drive to reach the fairway, be careful not to go too long as with water to the left and right hand side of the fairway, you could find trouble ahead. The longer hitters may be able to reach the green fairly shortly but a good accurate strategy will be required to score under par. The contoured greens provide excitement and difficulty for any golfer with burrows being featured also.

Hole 2: Par 3 – 152 metres
Regarded as one of the best short holes in the Murcia region, this hole over 152 metres is accompanied by water surrounding mostly all of the green. With differentiating wind direction together with the pin position, club selection can differ Levitra Professional depending on the conditions. What makes this hole unique to the region is the angle of approach to the green due to the landing area narrowing to the green with water either side.

Hole 3: Par 4 – 280 metres
A challenge for the longer hitters on this hole as with risk you are rewarded. This par 4 over 280 metres features a slight uphill dog leg with two large bunkers as main hazards on the fairway, to the left and right of the green. The tiered approach shot to the green may come difficult to some, but a cleverly placed shot from the tee to the left hand side will allow a relatively easy line for the golfer.

Hole 4: Par 5 – 493 metres
Featured on this par 5 is a narrow fairway to make things more difficult a small bunker is found to the right hand side. Leaving an easier approach from a more central position, players should ideally lay up second to avoid the green side bunker. The green is again tiered but is generous to the golfer depending on the pin position. It is not surprising if you three putt due to the tricky finish.

Hole 5: Par 4 – 367 metres
To play this par 4 spread across 367 metres, you will cross the road to begin progressing through the slight dog leg right. Golfers will have an opportunity of a good finish if they find the apex of the dog leg by producing an ideal approach shot to the green. To achieve par or to pull back a shot, golfers may be wary about the small size of the green with bunkers flanking both sides.

Hole 6: Par 5 – 478 metres
Playing over 478 metres from the yellow tees, a challenging drive will be required due to the right angle dog leg to the left. To make matters a little more interesting bunkers and out of bounds areas are found at the corner of the fairway. Any long straight drives will find the bunkers or head out of bounds. To surpass these hazards, the best line through is over the corner to carry over all the bunkers. It is worth noting that the remaining fairway to the green is uphill so sensible Brand Viagra good strokes will allow players to reach the large tiered green that slopes back towards the fairway.

Hole 7: Par 3 – 183 metres
This is the longest par 3 of the La Peraleja golf course at 183 metres in length. Down the left hand side there is an out of bounds area with a double bunker protecting the green from approach shots from the front right. Club selection should be considered by golfers carefully as it is important to carry all the way to the green.

Hole 8: Par 4 – 341 metres
With no doubt this is the most eye pleasing hole at the La Peraleja golf course. To begin a solid drive is required after tee off due to the upward slope from the landing area on the fairway. The best line to reach the green is via the centre left of the fairway. Additional clubs may be required to carry the golf ball onto the green on approach. The shorter straying shots can easily find a large green side bunker at the right side to add extra difficulty to reach the generous obscured green.

Hole 9: Par 3 – 168 metres
To conclude the front 9 of the La Peraleja golf course is this excellent par 3 hole. Club selection as always is essential from the elevated tee featured. With water hazards to the front and a large bunker to the rear, approaching the green must be taken with caution. The landing area appears to be small from the elevated tee off area, so a confident stroke is required with those wanting to achieve par.
