Lady Gaga Tickets – She’s Got the Summer Song

The sound of summer will undeniably be marked by Lady Gaga’s new hit “Alejandro.” Just in time for the summer sun, Lady Gaga has revealed her latest creation – “Alejandro’s” music video. Never to be outdone by other controversial singers, Gaga has included scantily clad men bound in leather while she dons a red rubber nun suit. Always one to spark controversy, the blasphemy themed video was the topic of conversation throughout early June when other summer hits – like Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” – moved their way up the Billboard charts.

“The summer song is prescription cialis online a special breed among pop songs,” Billboard editor M. Tye Comer said to CNN. “Typically, we’re not talking about a track that’s going to win songwriting awards, but we’re talking about something upbeat and immediately catchy…” Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” has appeared just in time, as her catchy pop hit will surely take the title as it climbs up the Billboard charts. Already over 200,000 voters on MTV named the hit 2010’s Summer Jam, announced just a day before Gaga’s new video was set to appear. Topping the charts for a week Kamagra Gold straight, “Alejandro” was even a Billboard Hot 100 favorite during its premiere week. Dance to the hit live when Lady Gaga tickets become available online.

Unlike other Lady Gaga songs that easily captured the attention of both commercial audiences and music critics, “Alejandro” is “kind of silly,” said MTV News Editor James Montgomery. But according to experts, that kind of silliness is what defines an ideal summer song – and “Alejandro” is no exception to the rule. Even if the single doesn’t top the Billboard poll, though it’s been deemed the frontrunner, if “Alejandro” pops up on the radio during the snowy months of winter, fans will likely recall their warm summer months.

And that’s what a summer song is all about – it’s a tune that takes fans from the nightclub to poolside, and back. Though oftentimes “short on lyrical substance, they’re long on style,” adds Montgomery. “When you sit and listen to them, you can just hear them coming out of the trucks of cars and clubs.”

Lady Gaga is not one to shy away from ridiculous means to get the attention of her target audience. Though it seems like she has yet to fail, the media attention has come with both praise and backlash. The new “Alejandro” hit is getting headlines as summer single competitor Katy Perry “disses” the new video, tweeting: “using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.” The message didn’t go unrecognized by media outlets, though Perry never officially named Gaga as the source of such a message.

Already the target of religious backlash, as Gaga’s single “Telephone” was parodied by Westboro Baptist Church’s Megan Phelps-Roper with an insult theme, Gaga still has the headlines. Phelps-Roper’s single “Ever Burn” changed “Telephone” lyrics to insult the star, singing: “Stop praying, stop praying, God will not hear you anymore/You taught the boys and the girls to be proud whores.” No matter the reaction of fans and critics, Lady Gaga will be performing “Alejandro” and other hit singles across the globe this year during her Monster Ball Tour.
