Lion King Tickets – Singapore Addition Coming in March 2011
Though Disney’s hit Broadway musical The Lion King has been in production for 13 years, there are always new developments for Simba and his pack of lions. Most recently the North American touring production added new actors for the roles of Scar, Rafiki, Timon, Simba, Nala, Shenzi, Young Simba and Young Nala. The new actors are expected to join the existing crew for The Lion King’s Vancouver, B.C. premiere in July where the four week engagement will run at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Disney’s “The Lion King” first debuted in Canada in April 2000 and will continue to tour around the globe, so pick up Lion King tickets online for the whole family.
Touring newcomers come simultaneously with new Broadway additions, as Minskoff Theatre will welcome Gareth Saxe as Scar; Alton Fitzgerald White as Mufasa; Cameron Pow as Zazu; Ben Jeffrey as Pumbaa; Fred Berman as Timon and Chaunte Schuler as Nala to the cast. The new Broadway stars joined the veterans June 15, which include Tshidi Manye as Rafiki; Dashaun Young as Simba; Joshua Jackson and Alphonso Romera Jones II as Young Simba and Khail Toi Bryant and Jade Milan as Young Nala.
In addition to new developments in North America, Walt Disney productions is taking this award winning show to Southeast Asia in March 2011. The touring show, which is one of just five touring productions to see more than 10 years on both Broadway and West End, is expected to premiere the family favorite at Marina Bay Sands.

Already fans are eagerly anticipating the prospects of this Broadway favorite, which will be begin sales in October.

The tale follows Simba, who loses his father Mufasa to the hands of his evil uncle Scar, and must then understand that he is capable of ruling his father’s land.
