Rascal Flatts Tickets – Rascal Flatts Celebrates 10 Years
The last decade has been quite a rollercoaster ride for the men of Rascal Flatts-if that rollercoaster only went up and never plunged down. 2010 marks 10 years since the trio first appeared on the scene, and they are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. Their continued success should quiet any naysayers who once doubted their staying Cialis power, as Rascal Flatts is poised to perpetuate their rise for many more years. Their success could also be measured by the popularity of Rascal Flatts tickets for their dates around the country, which routinely sell out, so head online to get your own tickets today.
Jay DeMarcus, Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney are still riding high off of the chart-topping success of their 2009 album Unstoppable, but that hasn’t slowed their drive to create a new album. The new album will launch a new era for the trio, as it will be under a different label than all of their previous releases. Their longtime label Lyric Street is set to close. The group has yet to find a new home, but the decision will likely be made soon, as their new album is expected in early fall, with a new single released even earlier. They are expected, though, to remain with a Disney entity, as Lyric Street was a Disney company.
The spring months are eventful for Rascal Flatts with two high-profile performances. The first will come on Wed., April 28, when the trio makes a stop at Fox’s American Idol. Viewers will be treated to two different performances by the group. The first will be their current single “Unstoppable.” They will follow it up by joining Shakira on her song “Gypsy.” It won’t be Rascal Flatts’ first time on the show, as they made appearances in 2005 and 2007.
On May 1, the trio will head to Churchill Downs for the 2010 Kentucky Derby. Rascal Flatts will be singing “The Star Spangled Banner” to kick off the race. According to Wave3.com, track spokesperson Julie Koenig said, “This new element of the Derby experience was an instant hit and was warmly embraced by Derby fans. We are confident that country music’s hottest trio will deliver an unforgettable performance for the 150,000-plus fans listening in person at Churchill Downs as well as the millions of viewers worldwide.” Last year, LeAnn Rimes did the honors.
Rascal Flatts fans were likely excited when the trio announced a set of high-profile gigs for the summer. They are set to hit many top dates around the nation, like Cincinnati, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Louisville and more. The group also has a chance at winning a CMT Music Award. The 2010 CMT Music Awards are set to take place in Nashville on June 9. Rascal Flatts is nominated twice in the same category: Group Video of the Year. The videos for their songs “Here Comes Goodbye” and “Summer Nights” both earned nominations. Rascal Flatts is up against the Zac Brown Band (“Highway 20 Ride” and “Toes”), Lady Antebellum (“American Honey” and “Need You Now”), Gloriana (“How Far Do You Wanna Go”) and Trailer Choir (“Rockin’ the Beer Gut”).
