Dave Matthews Band Tickets – Touring Like Rock Stars!
Ever since last summer with the release of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King the boys of the Dave Matthews Band have been keeping busy, and this summer offers little reprieve for the group of jazz/rock musicians. After an extensive touring stint throughout Europe, DMB is back on soil in the States and you’d be hard pressed to find some open dates on their calendar.
Their spring/summer jaunt officially kicks off this month in Washington, D.C. at the DAR Constitution Hall and they will canvass the country until their last scheduled date this time around, on Sept. 15 in Saint Paul, Minn. For a complete list of all of DMB’s upcoming gigs, go online and get your own pair of Dave Matthews Band tickets.
As it turns out, Dave Matthews is also trying his hand at acting and is currently hanging out in Hawaii with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman and Adam Sandler for a role in the upcoming flick Just Go with It. During some downtime, photographers caught Dave and the rest of his family frolicking on a beach and it’s probably good that the rock star can get some R&R in now before he begins jet-setting around the nation.
DMB has been capturing more attention on a global level since the release of Big Whiskey and their recent European tour proves that they have been gaining a greater reputation across the pond. In the U.S., the Dave Matthews Band has been a huge presence in the music industry ever since they stormed onto the scene in 1994 with their widely praised debut, Under the Table and Dreaming. Although they initially found No prescription cialis a devoted following on college campuses, word soon spread and in a short period of time DMB was a huge national act.
After their debut, the band stormed ahead with anther platinum-selling release, Crash, in 1996. The record spawned the hit single “Crash into Me,” which was an immediate radio favorite. The band was also gaining positive feedback from their live releases, like Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95, Live at Luther College, The Center Park Concert, The Gorge, Live at Radio City Music Hall and Live at Piedmont Park. In fact, DMB is most well-known for their rousing live shows and they have really been able to capture the energy of these performances in the aforementioned recordings.
The group’s latest release has further pushed them into the spotlight and it even earned them a Grammy nod for Album of the Year. Although they ended up losing out to country music darling Taylor Swift, the Dave Matthews Band has shown a lot of grit these past few years and their latest studio effort is an example of their perseverance. Even after the loss of one of their key members (saxophonist LeRoi Moore died in 2008), the group has found something positive to sing about. Their schedule is packed this year, so check to see when they will be performing in a city near you!
