I Might Have Been an Architect
As a boy I struggled with math all throughout my junior high and high school years. I was a dreamer, according to my parents and teachers, and would often misunderstand the assignments or just not comprehend the complexities of trigonometry or algebra. I also had a difficult time understanding the formulas of chemistry, in addition to the equations of mathematical theory that I was just not interested in learning. Fortunately, my career has allowed me to use my mind creatively, however when I was younger I was very interested in art and architecture and if it had not been for my lack of understanding in the sciences and different advanced math classes I would have pursued an masters college degree as an architect. Once I heard that I would need to know calculus before I could qualify for the architectural program all bets were off, as I had a difficult time working with the equations in geometry as well as the other disciplines.
Even with the encouragement of parents, who taught me that I could do anything and become whatever I wanted, I passed up on the opportunity to develop my love of the lines and forms of art that made up buildings and graced skylines across the country. If I had perhaps had the assistance of one of the Atlanta tutors that specializes in mathematics my life would have turned out differently, but with my own intense fear of the subject I pushed away any help I was given by my brother (who did not understand how I was unable to comprehend the subject) and instead turned my focus to graphic arts and creative writing.
From the campus of the local university a number of engineering graduates and students are helping children to make sense of the various problems and equations that commonly trip up younger generation. Working with elementary classrooms all the way through to college level coursework, Atlanta tutors are available to give kids the kind of assistance that they need to become successful. For the students like me having someone I can rely to help grasp the theories and theorems is a blessing that can help kids to use math to become what they want to. Although my dreams of becoming world famous architect have been set aside, the younger generations of scholars that are coming up through the ranks today, can have the proper guidance from people that really understand the topics of math and science, and they may go on to do the work that I abandoned when I was in the ninth grade and believed that I was in over my head when it came to ever being able to find a solution to a problem that confused my young Kamagra Gold mind.
