Jonas Brothers Tickets – Jonas Brothers Rev Up for August Tour
Summer is a popular season for tours, but female concertgoers will be watching one brotherly trio beginning in August: the Jonas Brothers. Kevin, Nick and Joe will begin their tour in Tinley Tadacip Park, Ill. on Aug. 7, and Disney star Demi Lovato (middle brother Joe Jonas’ ex-girlfriend) is joining them for their 35-plus dates. Speaking about the trek, which will span North America and South America, Joe Jonas told MTV.com, “We’re really looking forward to it. I’m excited to get onstage again and perform, get ramped up with that again.”
The middle Jo Bro took time out from shooting an episode of the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland, in which he will guest as Valerie Bertinelli’s son on Aug. 11, to talk about the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming tour, but was coy when it came to revealing details. “We’re going to be bringing a lot of our friends from Camp Rock on tour, which will be fun. And also, there might be a couple [surprise guests] here and there; artists that might pop in, but we haven’t really said anything too much yet,” said Joe. Fans that want to see the surprise guests for themselves can get Jonas Brothers tickets online.
The Jonas Brothers’ official website states that in addition to Demi Lovato, tour guests include other Disney favorites like Matthew “Mdot” Finley, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Roshon Fegan, Alyson Stoner and Jordan Francis. Hinting about the surprise guests, Joe Jonas told MTV.com, “I think they’ll just [be a] surprise and come onstage. We have a lot of buddies in the music industry that just kind of are always around hanging out onstage. We’ll call them up, and they’ll maybe play a song with us or something like that.” The trio’s tour will likely see them performing songs off 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times as well as the forthcoming Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam album, which includes a duet between exes Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato called “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
The Jonas Brothers’ 2009 tour, promoted by Live Nation like their upcoming jaunt, grossed nearly $100 million from 92 shows with attendance of 1.5 million, according to Billboard.com. The trio’s upcoming road trip is likely to follow suit, but just because Kevin, Nick and Joe combine to form one of the most successful young bands doesn’t mean they don’t appreciate what they have. The Jonas Brothers make a point to give back whenever possible, and their charitable deeds were recently recognized at the 2010 VH1 Do Something Awards.
Held on July 19 and hosted by Glee star Jane Lynch, the show honors young people and celebrities for their activism and charitable work. The Jonas Brothers beat out Lady Gaga and others to take home the Do Something Music Artist prize. After winning the honor, Joe Jonas tweeted: “We won a Do Something award…Thank you fans! You can do something great for this world too! I believe in you.”
Although the Jonas Brothers’ schedule will be jam packed with tour dates, the brotherly trio is still looking ahead to their next album. Youngest brother Nick Jonas told Billboard.com back in May, “As far as the next Jonas Brothers album, I think we’re working on what that’s going to sound like, just taking our time and trying to make something great, no matter what that sounds like.” As far as when fans can expect some new music from the Jo Bros, Nick said, “Hopefully 2011 is a timeline, but we’re not sure just yet, and we’re in no rush. We’re writing a lot of music but in no rush to release an album in any time period.”
