You may notice that the majority of people at the gym are not using these clips. Although you may not think it is cool or necessary to use the clip, go against these feelings and put your mind and body at easy by clipping on the clip.
Finally, you have to make sure that you have someone with you or nearby if you are going to be on the machine. This is usually not a problem when you are in a gym or a public area that allows you to use their treadmills.
If you are not in a communal area and you are running on the treadmill, you have to make sure that you have someone that will be able to hear you. If you get trapped under the treadmill you want to make sure that someone can hear you.
When you are working out alone, you should keep a phone nearby incase you get injured. Sometimes you may not even be caught under the treadmill but you may hurt your leg or foot so badly that you cannot walk.
No matter what your problem or injury is you should wait for someone to come and help you. If you get up or you move yourself you may be causing much more damage and be signing up for a longer recovery period.
