Training camps are almost in session for football teams around the NFL, and rookie signings as well as trades seem to be wrapping up. As the start of the 2010 regular season comes into play, the AFC East looks to be one of the strongest divisions across the league. Here’s a preview of what to expect from AFC East teams this upcoming season.

New England Patriots: The Patriots had only mild success in their 2009-10 campaign, but as any football fan knows it’s best to not ever count the Patriots out of playoff contention. Tom Brady returns to the field after a bounce-back year coming off a torn cialis cheap ACL, and most of his team is back with him for the 2010 season.

Of course, the Pats might be shaky on offense depending on whether or not Wes Welker is ready for the start of the season, but with Randy Moss in a pivotal year and players like Julian Edelman and Torry Holt behind him, New England’s offense will certainly still be strong.

New York Jets: The Jets have a lot riding on this season. Rex Ryan scooped up some huge high-profile players during the offseason, but the team has to prove there are more than just big names to a successful franchise. So far this offseason, the Jets have acquired Antonio Cromartie and LaDainian Tomlinson from the San Diego Chargers, Jason Taylor from the Miami Dolphins and Santonio Holmes from the Pittsburgh Steelers, adding some star power to the lineup.

These players are enough to sell NFL tickets on their own to Jets games, but it’s how they gel on the field with players like Mark Sanchez and Darrelle Revis that will make or break this New York team in 2010.

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins were on a momentous rollercoaster ride last season, propelled along by the Wildcat formation yet taken back behind the ball after Chad Pennington injured his shoulder during Week 3. The football realm watched as Chad Henne took over at quarterback, and this year he returns as the starting launcher for the team.

The Dolphins’ success this year largely depends on if running back Ronnie Brown can stay healthy. When Brown is 100 percent, this Miami team has the potential to be a playoff contender, but this is also a team that could unravel with the tug of a thread.

Buffalo Bills: The Bills already look to be the bottom feeder in the AFC East during the 2010-11 season, even with the hiring of new coach Chan Gailey. The Bills will revert to a 3-4 defensive scheme this year, but will it help them win more ball games?

The once-dominant Buffalo Bills need a permanent fix to once again scale the ranks of the NFL, and that realistically just won’t happen in 2010. The team needs to address its quarterback situation, which has bounced around Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brian Brohm. The Bills did snag a solid rookie this year in running back C.J. Spiller, but don’t expect Buffalo to do big things this season.
