I am a proud home health aide. Although my work can be tough, I still see the next day as a brand new day full of excitement and joy. Doing this kind of work was definitely in my top choice in college.

During my younger years, I always was in charge of taking care of my younger sisters – especially when they were ill. I enjoyed nursing them back to health and seeing them get better and start to do things the same way as before.

My clients need more care and attention than my sisters had when they were younger. I try to keep their minds off of their medical conditions by talking to them about their children and grandchildren. I am very happy to be with them and learn from them. It is nice that I work in the comfort of their home where everything is in its place and they can still feel somewhat independent. Some of my patients have serious illnesses, but I see to it that I treat them to the best of what life has to offer. I also see to it that all tasks given to me by the patient or the patient’s family are being carefully followed because I want everything to be as accurate and as professional as possible.

At present, I am working in various homes providing special treatments to men and women in their senior years. Part of my job is to accompany them whenever they have appointments in their doctors, bathe and change their clothing, and give them all the necessary things that they want and need. I was upset with seeing them spending most of their time alone, but since they are now my patients, my only goal is to keep them well, strong and happy.

Once a week and during special holidays, I organize special programs for patients of similar ages where they can participate and interact with each other. Their relatives, sons or daughters can accompany them. Although most of my clients are old, some can still Silagra have a good time and that is what I enjoy. It brings joy to my heart whenever I see smile on their faces and seeing them sing and dance the way that they used to. I videotape every event so that they and their families can keep a copy for themselves. Many of the family members thank me, but the smiles from the patients are all that I need.
