So Much to Do in Park City

If you are headed to Utah, one place you may want to visit is Park City. This beautiful mountain city is home to many world class ski resorts, plenty of shopping, delicious restaurants and more.

Park City also hosted many events during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. No matter what time of year you go, there is always something to do in this breathtaking city.

First off, make sure to check out the Utah Olympic Park. This park was home to events such as bobsledding, ski jumping and the luge during the Olympics.

The park is now open to the public. It offers many activities including bobsled rides, ziplines, an alpine slide, and ski jumping shows.

There are also a couple of museums which show off memorabilia from the winter games. Next: check out the Park City Mountain Resort.

This resort is one of the most popular spots to visit in Park City. Not only is this the largest ski resort in the state, but it also provides many activities during the summer as well.

You may want to take a ride on the alpine coaster, the zip rider, or take a scenic lift ride up the mountain. It Cialis Jelly also has rides for kids, a climbing wall and a life size maze.

A few other activities include horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. This of course is not the only ski resort in the area.

In Park City you will also have access to Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons Resort. During the summer Deer Valley offers summer camps for kids, hiking, biking, lift rides and summer concerts.

At the Canyons during the summer they have a disc golf course, gondola rides, hot air balloon rides, summer concerts, a farmers market and more. As you can see, any one of these resorts would be fun to visit during the winter or summer.

Park City is also home to some great galleries and museums. A few to check out are the Kimball Art Center, the Meyer Gallery, the Mountain Trails Gallery, the Summit County Courthouse Museum, the Park City Historical Society Museum, and the Newpark Town Center.

For those who enjoy shopping, Park City offers some great shopping destinations. The Tanger Outlets feature over 60 brand name outlet stores.

You should also definitely check out Main Street. It is home to quaint shops, boutiques, and more.

You will also find some exciting restaurants. If you are looking for a unique gift or souvenir, this is the place to shop.

A few other shopping spots are Newpark Town Center and Redstone Shopping in Kimball Junction. One last thing to do is check out the nearby reservoirs.

They are a great place to boat, fish or swim. Nearby are Jordanelle State Park, Rockport State Park and Deer Creek Reservoir.

This mountain city also features plenty of great dining options. With over 100 restaurants you are sure to find at least one to enjoy.

If you want American food, check out Davanza’s, Riverhorse Cafe, Adolph’s, Blind Dog Grill, and Cafe Terigo. A few good Italian places are Grappa Italian Restaurant and 350 Main.

A few notable French restaurants include Bistro 412 and St. Bernard’s Restaurant. You will find some good Mexican food at El Chubasco Inc. and Baja Cantina.

And lastly if you have kids and are looking for a family-friendly atmosphere, check out Loco Lizard Cantina, Red Banjo Pizza Parlour, Park City Pizza Co., Spencers, and Morning Ray Cafe. This city also has many places to stay.

As far as lodging goes, you have lots of options. If you are looking for a basic hotel there is a Holiday Inn Express, a Hampton Inn & Suites, and a Best Western.

All of the ski resorts also offer lodging. A few other places to check out are Newark Resort and Hotel, The Sky Lodge, Washington School Inn, the Park City Peaks Hotel, and the Yarrow Resort Hotel.

Lastly, you also have the option of camping. If this is your thing, look into Park City RV Resort or the Mountain Spa in Midway.

There is also great camping at the Wasatch Mountain State Park, which is about 30 minutes away. Enjoy your trip to beautiful Park City!
