After 18 days in icy Antarctica, the on time arrival at the airport must have seemed an especially warm homecoming.

The four members of the Antarctic expedition were back at a hero’s party from nearly three weeks at the bottom of the Earth.

A welcome party was prepared when the arrival day finally came for scientific expedition in Antarctica after the bad weather kept them for about 10 more days.

The students themselves received a different experience. Kids tying everything in leads to learning. Kids are exposed to science and history with an explorer for a teacher.

Experimentations done on this trip were on gravity, temperature, and rocks just like what the students back home are doing.

The relaying of data to the 11 classrooms was done through satellite phone and email. It was pretty fun listening to what kind of answers she got and what we got.

With the answers given, funny was how they differed. Her experience taught the students that data can be a little different when performed in a snowy desert with temperatures plunging to well below zero.
