Have you noticed the pressure that is being put on the car industry by the government and the public? All over people are realising that paying a lot for fuel is ending up costing them hundreds or thousands of pounds of their precious earnings a year – and that if they could save fuel they could save money. At the same time, scientists and the general public have both realised that pumping CO2 and other noxious emissions out of the numerous car exhausts was Kamagra Soft having a dramatically negative effect on the environment. The ozone layer was being depleted, the world was heating up, and generally everything was looking quite negative.

As such, the emission heavy industry that is the world of automotives has been forced to make a few changes. Loud and voracious outcries of public demand have led to brands such as Audi having to pour funds and brain power into researching as many different ways of reducing fuel use as possible. Whilst many people do demand results, taking action to show you are aware of the problem has been the main priority for all too many PR conscious brands who haven’t really committed themselves to the cause.

Not, however, with Audi. They weren’t the fastest to get on the green and friendly band wagon, but they probably one of the companies to have employed the most exciting or comprehensive range of technology within their different cars. They have got on the electric car band wagon for the start, although they aren’t one of the most innovative brands that have started releasing them already. Instead, Audi have released two fully electronic concept car ideas – a fairly typical little hatchback, and a much more revolutionary idea for a R8 styled E-tron supercar. On top of this, they have gotten in on the slightly pointless love of Hybrid technology, which is one of those keywords that the generally public just loves to hear – even if the fuel savings aren’t as much as you would hope for.

On top of the concepts, Audi have made fuel efficiency changes to lots of little complicated bits and pieces of their engines. I don’t understand it all, but I can tell you that their FSI, TFSI and TDI engines squeeze the power out of every drop of fuel, making one tank last longer than it otherwise would in an untuned car. These are the sorts of little changes that will make the difference long term, and which are vitally important for changing our emissions and helping the world right this very second, rather than 50 years down the line! In addition to the tuning of the engines they have added in commonly used but always appreciated technology like the start/stop device, which reduces petrol wasted whilst the car is actually motionless.

Of course, Audi could do all the work in the world, and it would make a difference if the car was driven badly. There are always going to be people who drive like an inefficient bat out of hell!
