6 Essential Tips to Need to Know to Achieve a Six Pack
Lost that washboard stomach? Envious of those guys with a rippling six-pack or those girls that model a bikini so well?
Truth is: Most guys and girls will never achieve that look…and 99% of those that try will fail.
Not because it’s impossible. Not because they have the wrong metabolism, or bone structure. No, it’s because they aren’t equipped with the right knowledge and all attempts are doomed before they start. They’re heading down the wrong road before they even started…time after time.
If you want to be that 1%. If you want to be the envy of your friends and the desire of the opposite sex then pay close attention to these 6 tips.
Tip 1 – Don’t eat processed “health foods”
Most “health foods’ are simply cleverly camouflaged junk food. They’ll just give you a huge sugar rush that which will then turn into more belly fat. The diet and fitness industry are experts in marketing…don’t fall for their lies.
Tip 2 – Eat a proper Diet
Maybe you think this is an obvious one. But do you know what eating right really means? I sure didn’t until I found the right source of advice. Exercise is only half the battle of a six pack…the other (and probably more important) half is your diet.
You will never have a six pack while you have your abs are covered in fat. And exercise is not enough to get rid of that stubborn fat.
First and foremost you must eat plenty of vegetables. You have to cut down on your fat intake and eat smaller meals more regularly. Drink a good amount of water regularly throughout the day. And for your sweet tooth you can try some more fresh fruit.
Get your protein from lean meats (no fat), chicken (no skin), turkey, fish, eggs, milk, etc. Eat starchy carbohydrates such as brown rice, potatoes, oatmeal, high fibre cereals, etc rather than white rice, chips and pasta. And the most obvious…avoid all junk food (the upside is you’ll look great!).
Tip 3 – The best exercise for a flat belly is not sit-ups or crunches
This sure surprised me. I used to spend ages doing crunches thinking it was helping. Crunches, sit-ups, and other usual ab exercises (including ab machines) are not the best method of getting a flat belly. Don’t forget your stomach is a muscle much like any other muscle in your body. You don’t do squats in 50+ rep sets for your legs, so don’t do 50+ rep sets of sit-ups on your abs.
You’ll get the best results come from resistance exercises. Aim to do 10-15 reps per set on your abdominals.
Tip 4 – Only train your abs 2-3 times a week
Your abs, like any other muscle, need rest between strenuous exercises. If you train more than 2-3 times a week on your abs you risk over training them. They need time to heal and grow.. Training causes damage to your muscles. They respond by getting bigger and stronger…but only if you give them time to heal.
Tip 5 – You cannot do isolated exercise to give you pinpointed fat lose
Annoyingly, the fat on your belly is the most stubborn fat of all on your body. That last ring below your belly button. Equally as annoying is you cannot isolate your fat loss. In other words you cannot train your stomach and hope to loose fat there. To loose fat on your stomach you need to loose fat everywhere.
Tip 6 – Pills and supplements or any gimmick ab machine is a waste of money
You don’t need to waste your money on pills, potions or ab machines to get a flat belly. Most don’t work and certainly no better than applying the right diet and exercise. I’m sure you know that the people in these ads didn’t get their abs using the machines they’re advertising.;-) But did you know that applying these 6 tips will still result in failure if you don’t apply the right exercise? Most people think that cardio is the best way to a shed those unwanted pounds.
Unfortunately that’s not right and helps explain why so many people still fail to achieve the look they’ve been dreaming of.
So if you don’t want to be like the 99% of people that never reach the six pack goal, find out the best exercise for your abs. http://www.bestexerciseforabs.org
