There are various situations where we get struck, but the first thing that comes into our mind is that there must be any physical problem, so we go to see a doctor who tells every kind of medicine, but the first thing which we should do is must visit a psychiatrist because it is he who will really tell the main matter.
Getting to know the real thing which should help in getting rid of beating the depression is educate you. Try to educate yourself from various means like internet or going to psychiatrist or through psychology books etc. this is the first and foremost thing which you should do. The second thing which you must do to beat depression is “getting focused”. This means that you should is bringing the attitude of hopefulness which is the opposite of depression. Your focus should always be on hope and this is a must thing which everyone should do as it brings optimistic thoughts in you which helps you to combat the effect of depression. During this time of being in a hope you can remember all the god’s verses which give good strength to you as well as your mind. Another focus you should maintain is being optimistic or keeping positive thoughts with yourself. That can only be done by telling all good things to you. Keep yourself self estimated with thoughts like “god is with me and he will always help in my troubles”, etc.
The next thing which is done is getting friendly. Whenever there are two friends there is sharing of feelings and this lifts up the mood of one another. So, this is also another way of making out friends and sharing with them things and talks so that you keep cheerful. Whenever you are with someone you are engaged and when there is isolation, it becomes a place where depression is born. So try to get away from isolation and be always with friends.
Get giggling is yet another way of beating up the depression mood. You can collect cartoons from newspapers or watch cartoon shows and each and every animated series or movies. Laughing is the way by which your tensions are released out and you feel so much relieved and relaxed. You must keep this in mind while you are working too. Much of pressure is built while working and you must try to have some time out for your laughter exercise.
Try to get busy with things. Whenever you are free, you tend to get so many things in your minds and this is the way for depression to enter. So try to keep yourself indulged in some or other things. Music is yet another way of occupying your mind with good melodies. It eases out tension and makes you feel relaxed. You must have some physical exercises too, as it makes you ease out your tension. It makes your nervous tissue stronger.
The most important thing which you should do is you must start getting the feeling of giving forgiveness to others. Whatever you do for others, just forget those. Do not keep any harsh feelings for anyone even if you do not get their respect in return. Try to have the feeling of forgiveness.
