Feeling they could have definitely done much better last season with their 8-5 record the Bulldogs remain happy with their seasons finish. Many of the Georgia Bulldogs fans also believe this to be true, they did good but could certainly have done much better. It was a great season for them but it was certainly nothing to write home to mom about. However, the 2009 season is over and here we find ourselves looking forward to the new 2010 Bulldog season.

So what do you think the 2010 holds in store for the Bulldogs? Frankly and putting it bluntly, I’d say at a minimum the SEC Championship. And this ends up being dependent on Alabama, if they’re as dominating and aggressive as last season, then Alabama might very well again stand in the way and not allow those Bulldogs to reach the SEC title. On positive note for the Bulldogs was that their signing day was just like a Christmas morning, full of nice treats since all of their wish list of recruits actually signed on to their team.

Additionally, the Bulldogs 2010 schedule looks like a smooth comfortable one for them to sit back and enjoy. Simply because most of the major talents on their opposing teams have either graduated or were lost in the draft; along with the issue that the remaining teams all are dealing with coaching changes, massive changes at that. Tennessee is one of those teams that will be in question due to dealing with coaching issues and still trying to get themselves back in one piece after they got royally backstabbed by Mr. Kiffen. We remember him, Coach Kiffen, yes? A bottom feeder, a slime ball who was hired to head the team by UT. Heading off and taking a “better” offer on a job with USC after just one season, the one who was being called the “welcome savior” to rebuild the team and just off and leaves for California.

However Tennessee’s losses could be considered Georgia’s win. Giving the Bulldogs an easy gain and a checkmark in the W-column to boot when facing Florida. The Massive Gator changes in the locker room during the off-season has left the Florida Gators to be an inconsequential for the 2010 football season.

On the other side though the Gators will have to watch out when they face Arkansas and Colorado. Colorado’s turning into somewhat of a serious powerhouse team after taking several seasons of jokes of the SEC and Arkansas got their own pride back in tack and learned how to actually play the game of football again. Keeping the Bulldogs in somewhat serious problems even though they have things going in their favor they’ll have to get their ground running game stronger. The Bulldogs did have their pass running game going good, but they have a line that a couple of them powered and are not going to be in the NFL uniform anymore. The Bulldogs only hope is to take this issue and solve it during training camp, putting every effort they have and getting their rookies going and up to speed as well before the opening day game.
