Get Those Sensual Lips With These Procedures

Lip Augmentation

Numerous women, celebrities or not, wish to project those full pouting lips and thus, desire to undergo lip augmentation procedures. To this day, plumped-up lips are still very much in.

Procedures for enhancing those puckers include lip surgery, fat injections, collagen injections and hyaluronic acid injections.

Lip Augmentation Surgery

Cosmetic lip surgery can give you the most impressive outcome. In this procedure, the corners of the mouth will be cut thinly in which to put the implants. Only local anesthesia will be used, like lidocaine which subsides soon after the surgery. Lip implantation is done with any of the following:

Alloderm, a tissue accessible at tissue banks, from deceased individuals who have contributed their bodies. This is by far the most sought after material because it has been proven very safe and effective. As in implant, alloderm is absorbed by the natural lip tissues and may be temporary.

Gore-Tex or SoftForm are among the synthetic tissues used if you want your filled lips to be permanent. Since it is synthetic,it won’t be taken into the body and you might go through rejection because it is a foreign element. In cases of rejection or severe infection, the surgeon takes out this tissue.

Fat taken from other areas of the patient’s body are also grafted for implant. And because it comes from the patient’s own body itself, it is totally natural and therefore does not pose any danger of infections. Most of the implanted fat will be occupied by the patient’s blood vessels and will stay for good, although there could be instances of slow diminishing of the plumped up effect.

Tissue from inside the mouth, called flap grafts, are also used and pushed into the lips. This would be sewn into place but it hasn’t been as effective as the other agents used.

Lip Augmentation Injections

Another option available for lip enhancement is the use of injections. This type is not as expensive and less invasive, therefore quite a more sought after procedure. It also presents lower risk and can be conducted several times to aquire the exact fullness desired by the patient.

Collagens, usually comprising animal tissue especially cow collagen, has effects staying just a few months and may result in some allergic consequence. Dermalogen is collagen prepared from tissue of deceased individuals.

Collagen can also be created from the patient’s own surplus skin. This is called autologous collagen. This, however, requires some skin to be taken out and can only be done where there is available skin from a cosmetic surgical lift operation. But these injections effect for a much longer time and do not trigger any allergic reactions.

Fatty cells taken from other areas of the body by liposuction are also another source of injectibles. These injections remain longer than collagen injections and don’t present any risk of rejection or allergies, but after some time, may have to be redone.

Hyaluronic acid is a tissue that is part of the cartilage surrounding and connection and helps support the skin and other tissues. This tissue diminishes as we age and as injections, replace the lost element and improve lips to become fuller.

This tissue is sourced out from human donors and comes out as HylaForm or synthetically as Restylane and Juvederm. Being an injectable element, this does not give permanent results and would need to be repeated.

Women and celebrities desire poutingly full lips to display a sensual or seductive lips. Which makes lip augmentation among the sought after and commonly done of the different cosmetic procedures and most of all, which gives the patients positive and satisfying results.
