Intelligence Management Continues to Grow:

One of the main reasons that intelligence management courses give potential candidates such an advantage is that few people have specific training in this area. Even though it has been said that it is the future of crime fighting and preventing terrorism, there is a real deficit of people qualified to perform intelligence management duties proficiently.

Having a degree in intelligence management is very marketable in the law enforcement community, and not just in agencies like the Central Intelligence Agency. Many local and state law enforcement departments are focusing on intelligence management as a necessary part of efficiently preventing organized and financial crimes, as well as deterring terrorism. Examples of this can be found in states such as New Jersey and Delaware.

More and more leaders in criminal justice are realizing that we live in a world flooded with information, and that finding intelligence and disseminating it to the proper channels is both essential and challenging.
