Hunter Saves Bigfoot From Drowning

Hunters are known for being rugged people, especially when they’re on the trail of big game. However, a group of hunters in Siberia claimed recently that they answered the distressed cries of a Bigfoot that had slipped through the ice of a flowing river.

According the Itar-Tass news agency a man named Afanasiy Kiskorov and his friends were fishing along a river while on a hunting trip this April when they heard a crackling of ice and a howl. When the approached the location of the sounds they noticed what appeared to be a very hairy many struggling in the icy flow of the river. Kriskorov played the role of the hero and used a tree branch to help the Bigfoot pull itself out of river. Once the hairy, wet creature reached shore it simply walked off into the forest.

The men described the Bigfoot as a ‘huge man covered in hair’ and it’s not the first time Bigfoot has been seen in this remote village of Senzaskiye Kichi. The Bigfoot sightings are common enough in the area that local town leaders had hoped it would eventually spur tourism to the area.

Other Bigfoot News in the U.S.

If you’ve read my previous “Bigfoot Friday” columns you know that Bigfoots don’t just live in the Pacific northwest. The species is scattered all across the North America. Recent sightings reported here have been in

Vermont and Pennsylvania. According to recent postings reported to www.facebook.com/findbigfoot there was also a sighting by two young men along the north east rim of Lake Okeechobee.

This article focuses on a story originally reported by Mike Leiby of The Independent. According to the report, a man named A.K. Riley spotted a series of footprints alongside a gravel road in Whiteriver Arizona. Riley has experience tracking Bigfoots and brought Leiby to more than one location where he’s been recording prints. Apparently Riley wasn’t the first person to find the most recent tracks. Alongside of them them, smaller prints were spotted, as if people were comparing the prints to their own.

I’ve studied many BF prints over the years and I always get excited about a new report but I have to admit, these don’t look authentic to me. In the photo the prints seem parallel to each other as if the BF was waddling along the road. However, most BF print recorded show the prints in a long linear pattern. I’ve never seen print in this pattern before. Was this a baby BF waddling along the road? It’s possible, I guess. See what you think by reading the full story by The Independent.
