In the end, even if we look at Thailand and Myanmar, part of design is always the use of floral patterns and design elements that have their roots in tradition, and the houses are small not by default or industry, but by the very fact that they have been in the tradition of these places for a long time. All in all, interior design in Asia is something that is moving forward with the times, with the danger of the more traditional elements being left behind for something that is much more universal in its appeal. As demands increase and city centres springing up even in the most rural of areas, what needs to be understood is that this is something inevitable when talking about things like interior design, like all design, will move with the trends, come under fire and be morphed with ideas that might seem radical now, but common place later.
