Can Premature Ejaculation Be Treated And Cured?
Premature ejaculation can be defined as a condition when a man ejaculates before he himself or his sexual partner arrived at a sexual climax or satisfaction. Often times, there will be a lot of sexual dissatisfaction from either one partner or even both which could lead to frustrations between the couple. Real statistics has shown that premature ejaculation is one of the main issues of sexual incompatibility that has caused many divorces all across the globe.
So what are the types of premature ejaculation? Well, there are two basically two types. The first type, known as primary premature ejaculation is when a man has premature ejaculation as long as he can remember. In other words, he has never ejaculated during all his sexual encounters with his mate or mates. The second type, known as secondary premature ejaculation is when a man ejaculates prematurely later in life due to some physical or psychological condition. The latter type is more widespread.
Although this disorder can occur in men of any age, surprisingly more young men are susceptible. It is thought that the cause of this is due to the inexperience of the young men when having sex. The excitement and the frenzy associated with the first few sexual experiences can also caused men to ejaculate prematurely. Could this be the reason why many women prefer more mature men as sexual partners?
Premature ejaculation is also more prevalent in certain cultures, traditions and religion. This is because of certain sexual taboos that boys are made to grow up with such as the thinking that masturbation is a dirty act or a sin and is frowned upon or even an act to be punished. So when boys get sexual urges, they may masturbate very quickly in some hidden places for fear of being found out and thus they ejaculate very quickly. The problem is that this “get it over quickly” habit remains with them as they grow up to be adults. By virtue of the number of treatments and purported cures available is a good indication on how widespread this problem is.
Many men mistakenly believe that they ejaculate too soon to be satisfactory to their partners. This thinking could be the result of watching pornography. The pornography industry is responsible for the spreading many sexual myths such as men comparing the size of their penises with male porn stars and finds themselves to be inadequate and thus want to enlarge their penises.
Another myth is that watching porn stars having sex throughout the 60 minute duration of the show and think that you must last at least a portion of duration is again misled thinking. The fact is that most couples having penetration sex can only last a few minutes. So don’t think that just because you can’t last more than ten minutes, then you are suffering from premature ejaculation.
Now I have another surprise for you. That is premature ejaculation is not a medical disease. It is all in the mind. It can be controlled simply by exercising more mind control.
One of the treatments used to treat it is called “the squeeze”. This is done by masturbating until the sperm is about to be released. At this moment the glands of the penis is squeezed in order to the stop the ejaculation. Masturbation is continued right after the urge to ejaculate is gone. This process of masturbate, squeeze and then masturbate again is repeated a few times. This method is also known to increase the quantity of sperm when you finally ejaculate.
There are some creams that can be used for premature ejaculation such as creams that numb the glands. Please be clear that these creams are not treatments per se, but are just tools used to delay the ejaculation by making your glands less sensitive to sexual stimulation. When you apply the creams, your penis loses some of its sensation and thus you can continue the sexual act longer.
Some people use hypnotism to treat this sexual disorder to varying degree of success since premature ejaculation has a lot to do with the mind. So let it be known that premature ejaculation indeed can be treated with good results.
