Easy Tips to Preserve Your Youthful Look-Why Beauty Isn’t Always Skin Deep
When you were young, you couldn’t wait to get old. Now that you’re getting old, you want to stay young. What’s more bizarre than that? People, women especially are always on the lookout for new processes and techniques to look young and ageless. Surgeries, Botox, Diamond Peel-these are just some procedures which even you would want to undergo just to preserve your youthful look. Provided, of course, that you have the resources. Fortunately, you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to get the young look you ever wanted and keep. Time is unrelenting and aging is inevitable but if you follow some of these tips, you’ll be able to age beautifully and gorgeously.
– Drink LOTS of water
Water gets those harmful toxins out of your system thus, leaving you with healthy, clear skin. You need to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day if you want to achieve a positive result. By drinking plenty of water, you will feel less bloated and you also prevent dehydration. Dehydration causes you to age faster so better replenish yourself with water every chance you get.
– Exercise regularly
Keep moving. Whether it’s just strolling at the park or going window shopping, the important thing is you stay active. Don’t forget to bring your pepper spray or stun gun with you when doing your daily walks though. Physical activities not only make you feel and look young, it will also do wonders for your health. By exercising every day, you help yourself stay fit and trim. You’ll also discover that you will eventually feel energized and rejuvenated. Not to mention fitting in a younger woman’s clothes.
– Change your hairstyle
Nothing is more aging than seeing those white hairs on your crowning glory. Your hair and your hairstyle play a major part in making you feel younger. Get the proper care rather than bleaching and straightening it too often. Trim your hair every four to six weeks to get rid of split and brittle ends. Condition your hair so it will remain soft and manageable. You can still look sexy with your gray hair. It’s all up to you to make the difference.
– Live a healthy lifestyle
Eat the right food and stay away from vices such as smoking and drinking. Maintain a healthy diet consisting of fruits and vegetables as well as healthy fats. Smoking and drinking excessively not only damages your health but will also be visible on your lackluster skin. Getting enough sleep also helps in restoring damaged cells and keeps those dreadful eye bags away. When you get adequate sleep, you’ll wake up feeling fresh, youthful and radiant.
– Use the right make up
Make up either makes or breaks your appearance. If you want a youthful look, add blush or bronzers to your face for a sun-kissed look. The foundation you use must be close to your color, not lighter which will make you look paler than usual, nor darker which will create a fake tan look. Use gloss over your lipstick to enhance them and attract attention.
To look young doesn’t mean you need to spend bucks on various surgeries and procedures. It only requires you to take care of yourself well and exude a positive attitude in everything you do. Smile!
