What’s The Easiest Way To Lose Weight? A Personal Diet Success Story

I’m lazy. I admit it. And I don’t like to suffer. I don’t like to feel deprived or going without. Life is too short.

But I also like to be thin. I like to wear my favorite skinny jeans without having to lie on the bed to zip them up. I like feeling comfortable in my own skin and liking what I see in the mirror.

So when I noticed my weight was starting to creep up, my face was puffy and the jeans weren’t zipping up without horizontal help, there was a problem.

What was the easiest way to lose weight – without depriving myself of life-giving chocolate or going around so hungry that my family would fear for their safety while I was around.

I’d tried dieting in the past and was not a fan. Swallowing cardboard tasting food and sweating my mascara off at the gym wasn’t an option this time.

I’d long ago realized I was a wimp and didn’t have the time or energy to put myself through torture just to lose a few pounds.

Hiring a personal chef to cook low calorie versions of my favorite food also wasn’t an option. It might be great for movie stars – but not for my ever shrinking, overtaxed paycheck.

So I decided to do the next best thing. I decided to get my food prepared and sent to my home. This wasn’t just your average takeout order. This was a diet meal delivery service that made gourmet, restaurant-quality meals like chicken cordon bleu or roast turkey with gravy and and shipped them to my door.

All I had to do was heat them up for approximately 5 – 15 minutes and then voila – a delicious, gourmet meal. No deprivation involved. It was easy enough that even a kitchen clutz like me could manage it. I even got chocolate cheesecake for dessert every so often.

For about $25 a day, it was also a lot cheaper than hiring my own personal chef. I often spent that much on lattes and snacks anyways. It seemed so easy I wondered what the catch was.

Sure I couldn’t eat as much as I was used to – but the food was so good it satisfied me so I didn’t mind cutting back a bit. And if it meant I could avoid the dreaded stairmaster, no problem.

I started noticing looser jeans after the first week. Within a couple of weeks I was vertical and zipping up.

The only thing was that I did miss was eating out – but then again after the first 2 weeks I figured I could build in a restaurant meal here or there without much harm.

So after 2 months I was down to my target weight and reluctantly cut back on my diet meal deliveries. I say reluctantly because I could never prepare food that good. So in a way I missed it.

But it really was the easiest way to lose weight I’ve ever tried. I saved on groceries and compared to a friend of mine who spent over $1500 at a weight loss clinic her first month (not including the cost of food), I came out way ahead of the game.

That’s why if people ask me my opinion on the easiest way to lose weight, I always tell them to use a diet delivery service. It’s easy, delicious and affordable for most budgets.

There are different services mind you and from my research, some are much better than others so you have to look at your options first. But when you find a good diet food delivery service, it can help you lose weight easily without feeling deprived or having to sweat it out for hours at the gym.
