I’m sure your still thinking about what your college essay topic should be about, aren’t you? Well, you are definitely not alone with this, because there are many students who do not know what to write for their college essay paper. Some students even wait till the very last day to work on the college essay without knowing the topic that they want to work on. You definitely don’t want to be like those students – so make sure you plan ahead to have plenty of time to work on your essay.

Here are two topics that can give you plenty to write about for your paper:

1) Think about an experience, time, and risk that you have taken that has significantly impacted your life. This can be a moment of time in your life that might have happened when you were a child, a teenager, a young adult, etc. Did this particular time make you change yourself to a whole new person? Why did you change during this time? What achievement or accomplishments have you done during this period?

You should never feel embarrassed to write about how you feel. The only person that is going to read your college essay is your professor. Most likely, you will never hear from this professor again after you finish taking the course. By writing how you feel, you can show the teacher that you have emotions, so your paper doesn’t seem like it was written by a robot with boring text from top to bottom.

If you feel that you have done nothing impressive or worth mentioning in your entire life, you can still write about something else. Not everyone has amazing stories to tell like in the movies and television shows. For example, even if you did not win a race when you were doing track in high school, you can still write about how you defeated your own record time, if you so did. This can show others that you try your best in your life. You do not necessarily need to win the race, but as long as you put all your effort into it, you have done a great job.

2) Talk about a great role model that has impacted your life. Some people can get very emotional when it comes to this topic. Did someone really have a strong impact on your life? Did this person change you for the better? How did this person shape you? What are your personal developments, and how did this person help you with your personal developments.

There are no wrong answers to this as it is just a college essay on how someone has changed your life. This person does not have to be related to you. This person can be a coach, a salesman, a clerk at the gas station, or anybody that has impacted your life! Have you been talking to this person your whole entire life since you were a little child? Did this person pass away?

You should have plenty of paragraphs and words to write about on either topic. If topic one or two have any significance in your life, then you can be sure you will probably have an abundance of things to write about.
