For the owners of Chevrolet Corvette nothing else will do. A Corvette is king. A Chevy Corvette is a Corvette or perhaps a Stingrray but nothing else will suffice. Not a lesser 60’s sports car (to them). Not another American branded vehicle. Not even what became known as high end foreign sports cars and certainly not the Japanese substitutes although those are taken with respect at more than face value in 2010. A well known luxury car for its lavish design and its elegant look, yes only for those who own it, and I wish I have one too, and who on these Earth wouldn’t want to own a Corvette?. One of owner’s dilemmas was the availability of the store that supply their parts, same as its predecessor the Chevrolet Auto. In the end if you want to keep your classic Corvette or even a newer model up to snuff where on earth can you locate high quality parts , and on a regular ongoing and consistent basis ? That is without your prize becoming the object of great financial maintenance on your part.

Many of these classic cars, the Chevrolet class of course, has become famous for its roof panels, which can be lift out electronically, talk about your typical James Bond movie scene. And they become famous too especially because of its feature, the Turbo Hydra-matic transmission which replaces two-speed Power glide as automatic transmission option. That was one of the few upgrades the Third Generation of its class has acquired, along with the outer body and its famous T-top removable roof panels with new interior to complete the awesome pack this car boast.

Well let’s not forget the model LT – 1350, the most valuable in its class during 1970’s.
It is important to note that Chevrolet has also upgrade it’s suspension with the Gymkhana parts for this class which does enhanced it’s handling qualities that greatly benefit the owners of these famous cars.

Finding its parts, which is obviously not available at your local machine shop, is very difficult because of its few numbers in major population of cars. But there’s an alternative to that, as there is always is. Well if you are one of the lucky owner of Corvette class, then it’s not unusual for you to mingle with Groups, shall I say Elite group of people that own a Corvette or find a rather similar Car Groups, then you have solve your “parts” problem with your car, if you’re lucky enough to find a swap materials.

Another way is to have a contact, and not just an ordinary contact, that person must be a reliable source of any thing that matters with a Corvette car, it may be parts, or interior or anything that you may want it to be, But, hey, it’s a Corvette, a well known car, unfortunately a classic car icon, that has a parts that is…, you guessed it right! Classic to. So only if you have a reliable contact can these problems with your famous car can be over come, and will ensure that you will be driving your Corvette up into the night party bar were you can hook up some romance at the end of the day.
