– Unfasten the bracket doors with hinges and screw them into the sidewall or frame of the window.
– Clip all the valence clips on the head rail’s front area.
– Slip the back head rail on the brackets and put on the tilt wand if there are any.
– Pull the control sleeve downwards.
– Let go of the cord as well as the lower blind and place the cord on the middle blind.
– For the finishing touch, insert the top edge of the valence into the clips.
For Outside Mounted Bamboo Blinds
– Hold the bamboo blind on the window panel that is to be installed and mark the ends of the head rail using a pencil.
– Put the head rail in place and try closing the bracket doors to make sure that the blinds will not be hindrance.
– Put the clear valence clip by sliding it down on the head rail’s front.
– Click the valence clip close to the downside of the head rail.
– Push the bottom edges of the valance until they firmly snap close.
– Lower the blinds and slip the pins into the bottom rail. Hold the brackets and mark the sides where the hold-down brackets will be installed.
– Screw the hold-down brackets in place.
How to Care for Bamboo Blinds
Window blinds made of bamboo do not need much maintenance because the texture of the materials does not attract dust. Simply dusting and vacuuming this window blind is already enough that you can do once a week. Those planning to wash them should use lukewarm water and soap that is oil-based. To wash bamboo blinds, immerse the fixtures on warm water in their bundled form and simply shuffle them for a couple of times. Rinse the blinds and leave them to air dry for some minutes. You can also easily dry them also by exposing them to the sun’s rays for around 20 minutes.
