Texas Longhorns a Team Filled With Tradition
We are sixty days away from the beginning of the 2010 season and the Longhorns are looking poised to pounce on their competition this season. this is looking to be one of the better seasons that the team has had in a long time, as a result of this rosy outlook, the team is set to make their impact felt in the upcoming season. This new lease on life perspective is one that will propel the team into a new realm of winning and has the team in the talks about a BCS bowl game. This will be an important consideration that will need to be addressed in the coming season.
This past years signing day was like Christmas in July for the Texas football team, there is a lot of potential talent that is on the team for the upcoming season, and this can lead to the team having a season that will lead them to better things than in the past couple of seasons. We all remember the embarrassment that was felt with the loss a couple of seasons ago to the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. This was the first step in the wheels falling off of the Texas football program. As the season progressed things continued to precede downward and as a result this led to the team not having a very successful season as a result.
The passing game for the team is looking to have a new found sense of purpose while on the field; this as a result will help to lead the team to have a better season than in the previous few seasons. There is a lot of interest that is focused on the new quarterback that has filled the shoes of the graduating seniors this past year. There is a lot that will need to be learned and this will serve as a training ground for the quarterback.
The running game is one area that will be able to carry the team on their back and lead the team to victory. There is a lot of potential and with the proper amount of leadership; this will hopefully be a turning point for the team on the whole. While the ground game has struggled in the past, there are those fans that see the light at the end of the tunnel and the team turning a corner. Let’s just hope that light is not another freight train.
Texas is a team that has proven to be dominating in the past few years. This as a result means that the team will be dominate once again, once they get the wheels reattached to the team and get the momentum going in regards to the team’s offense. If all of the factors fall into place, then the team will be looking at a successful season in 2010. If they hit another brick wall. The team will experience a long season which will end on a sour note and will lead to the dismissal of Mac Brown as a result of the subpar performance.
