Used Aston Martin – A Splendid Vehicle Choice!

The used DBS Volante is the orchestral equivalent of the DB9 Coupe with exciting and anticipated noise that steams from the model when it storms along its home of all homes; the open road. The sound that it produces makes the stomach churn with childish delight and stretches smiles into elastic string. As the Volante is floored by its ravenous driver to its top speed of 191mph, the music that the car makes is simple genius. It has been made to be fast, and for those who like to eat speed for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they will be pleased to hear that the DBS Volante can race to 60mph in just 4.3 seconds, cutting out any unnecessary waiting time.

Along with the powerful noise comes the roof that can wind up or down in a matter of 14 seconds. The hood can change the journey all together. If it is flattened, it provides fabulous open air motoring, making the ride breezier and more real as the passengers can see everything clearer and admire every part of the scenery; hopefully the rural part anyway. If the roof is closed, it can create a homely atmosphere and provide a comfy cloud of luxury to relax in. Supposedly having the roof open or closed would much depend on the weather and as the weather can never make up its mind in Britain, Aston Martin have armed the DBS with an essential and convenient feature.

It homes the new and brilliant Bang and Olufsen stereo which adds to the magnificent sound that the car powers. So, whether the driver has decided to lift up the roof to enjoy the smells and sounds of the surrounding or flapped it closed to enjoy the caved-in feel, the sound system will make a splendid addition to the journey – allowing the choice to flick on a tune and sing away, or in some people’s case, to just hum.

It is a little more spacious than other Aston Martin models, providing two rear seats that can fit in two young people or be used for extended luggage space. This might not be ideal for some people, but it can accommodate for two children and two parents, therefore this model could still be fairly practical for a small family – that is until the children have their growth spurts!

The word ‘Volante’ translates to ‘moving with light rapidity’ and this name is a perfect match for the DBS because Aston wanted this model to be a light weight on the road – fun and speedy but not dangerous. This is the 16th convertible that Aston Martin has made. They have picked out features from older models, changed them and developed a new model with its own individual personality, and despite this model being the 16th in line, it can definitely vouch for Aston Martin still owning their talent. Their models never get dull, but better and more brilliant with every single incarnation that rolls out of the factory doors and out on to the various forecourts around the country.
