End Your Wedding on a Sweet Note With Chocolate Wedding Favors
You can never have enough sweetness – weddings and chocolate – it seems like it’s the perfect pairing. It’s almost as if one cannot exist without the other. There is no better or more delicious item to be associated with weddings than chocolates. Whether crunchy or chewy, chocolates are well loved by people of all ages. By giving chocolates, you are not just being safe by giving something you’ll know everyone will appreciate; it means you do want for them to enjoy the sweetness of the event, even after it ends. Here are some chocolaty items that you can choose from as your chocolate favors.
Chocolate bars or mini-bars: You can purchase from your local supermarket if you would opt for the regular chocolate bars. There are mini bar versions of chocolate bars and with the size, they definitely look cute to be given as favors. You can wrap them in specialty papers, have them in foil, or simply tie a ribbon or lace and place a hang tag or mini-card. Print out your own wrappers with custom designs or even photographs and add personalized text to make your favors stand out even more.
Chocolate cakes or cupcakes: Chocolate cakes are also popular but the more common one being given are chocolate cupcakes – they are cute, cost less, and you can be truly creative with the different toppers you can place and different toppings such as colorful chocolate sprinkles, or nuts, or rice krispies that you can design it with. You can pack them into clear boxes and tie them up in ribbon for an even more impressive presentation.
Chocolate-coated apples: There are shops selling caramelized and chocolate-coated apples and you can even put designs on them as well, such as sprinkles, icing or nuts. Just wrap them in a clear cellophane bag and add a label or hang tag to personalize.
Chocolate cookies: Whether home-made, packed with chocolate chips, or buttery, cookies are everyone’s favorite. You can even have them cut into different shapes, and for weddings, the more popular ones are the heart shaped ones, bell-shaped, dove-shaped or flower-shaped.
Chocolate coated almonds: Mini and crunchy, chocolate-coated almonds are also popular favors even in other social events. You can pack at least 3-5 pieces in one small bag or an organza bag, or put them in foil wraps or mini boxes.
For some of these favors, like cupcakes or chocolate-coated apples, make sure that they are stored properly as they may spoil or rot. It might be difficult to tell if they already are until you smell or eat them, so store them properly for everybody’s sake.
What better way to end a sweet event than giving away sweet treats. It is such an instant gratification for the guests if they leave with these goodies in hand. It will be something that they will truly and instantly like, and maybe instantly eat as well. While there are other edible favors that you can give away, chocolates are and will always be a popular choice.
