You Can Also Like Golf
Ever seen the Adam Sandler movie about golf? I think that’s the only movie I get to appreciate golf in its broadest view of fun and recreational sport as it is. I never really have the chance to watch a real golf game because of my very busy schedule all week, but because of that movie, I learned to appreciate it in another way. Golf could be a very boring one to watch compared to other sports like basketball, football, hockey and such but in another special point of view, golf is still fun just like any other sport in the world.
But how do we view golf as not boring? To the golf fan, this would be such an easy task but for other people like me as before, this would not be that easy. Here are some useful points I came with to make you like golf as I am right now:
1. View it as competition – recall the movie I just told you about earlier, that kind of excitement is real on the field. Although not the type of excitement we would see in a basketball game but it would be the same quality of nail-biting action I assure you. Getting that small golf ball to the hole is never that easy, that’s why skilled golfers like Tiger Woods earned a lot of praise from their fans all around the world.
2. Watch out for those very outstanding hits – ever seen a hole in one in television before? Well, having seen it on a movie is very much different than watching it for real. Try watching out fore these kind of shots and peaks of golf to keep you interested on it.
3. Keep on with the competition – two very skilled golfers battling it out one on one on the field in the championships of the tournament can only get you staggering in excitement. Who will win? Who will get the price money? Who will be champion? These questions will just ring on your ear once you get on the competitive atmosphere of the game.
Those would be the top useful points that probably made me a golf fan myself, but if you are not aiming to be a golf player and would just like to stick with the golf atmosphere with just no reason, well that would be weird really, but I still can tell you off with these:
1. Just like my son that says he would just like to ride golf carts, I think anyone out there could like the sport by just that. Considering the fact that it is actually fun, I myself would enjoy just riding around it as well. Those car accessories also interest me in riding them, I really think it would be worthwhile for both me and my son riding those golf carts.
2. This is my personal favorite reason. The large lawn that just gives you enough space to unwind from your hectic job. Not to mention the peace and quiet that comes with it.
Anyways, you don’t have to force yourself in liking the game. Just try exposing yourself with it, it’ll just eventually flow out. I before you know it, you are liking golf as well.
