Broncos Head Towards the 2010 Football Games With Excitement

The 2010 Football season unofficially started for Boise State last August 6 when it opened its Fall Camp for the Broncos. Following the previous three camps, this is the final step in their training for this year’s football tournaments which begin on the 6th of September. The team is now guarding the fifth place in the list of 25 best teams. Their overall total is 1,215 points, just a few hundred marks lower than last season’s over-all best team.

For two weeks, the Boise State Broncos will be training in the camp in absolute secrecy. Fans are speculating that the team has quite a few surprised in store for this seasons’ games. However, at the end of the training, the team has scheduled a warm-up exhibition game for the public.

The exhibition game will feature the offensive units of the team against its defensive units. Necessarily, the play will be somewhat one-sided and the public need not hope to see the special techniques that the Bronco’s have prepared for this season’s tournaments. The scrimmage will be held at 7:30 within Bronco stadium.

Parking and admission will be free for everyone. The scrimmage will be held right after the 2010 Optimist Youth Football Jamboree.

The teams first opponent with the Virginia Tech. The match has long been awaited by eager fans on both sides of the fence. It is a fitting start for this year’s seasonal play, spearheading it with gusto and excitement. The game is scheduled at Fed-Ex Field, Landover, M. D. on Monday, September 6, 2010.

Expectations are high and varied. Others are happy if the team lands in top 5 of the rankings again. Others expect to be looking at a national championship award. This is not unlikely if the team’s performance in 2009 is to be the gauge.

The Boise State Broncos had copped the fourth position by the time 2009 came to an end. They garnered an undefeated record of 14-0. At the following Tostillos Fiest bowl, they humbled TCU 17-10.

This year’s play schedule for the Broncos is as follows.

September 6 they face Virginia Tech at Fed-Ex field.
September 18 they tackle Wyoming at Laramie.
September 25 they play at home versus Oregon State.
October 2 they tackle New Mexico State at Las Cruces.
October 9 they battle Toledo, once again, at home.
October 16 they are up against San Jose State at San Jose, CA.
October 26 they fight it out at home with Louisiana Tech.
November 6 they play against Hawaii in another home game
November 12 the game is against Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.
November 19 they battle Fresno State in another home game.
November 26 they face Nevada at Reno.
December 4 they play at home against Utah.

The Boise State Broncos’ fans should definitely not absent themselves even once this season. They may miss seeing some of the highly guarded tactics that the team has in store against its opponents. Besides, having managed to up themselves from slot 16 in the rankings to slot 4 during the 2009 tournaments, there is much to hope for from them this season.
