Gateway of India – this magnificent structure was constructed in order to commemorate the visit of the King George V and Queen Mary. It was designed by George Wittet. This is an example of perfect blend of local architecture with the Muslims architecture.

After completing the construction of the Gateway in 1924, it was opened for general public on December 4, 1924. The visit of any visitor is considered incomplete if he or she does not visit the Gateway of India.

Mani Bhawan – was once home for Mahatma Gandhi who resided from 1917 to 1934 has now become a Gandhi Museum. It is a charming old fashioned three story Gujarati-styled house. The house also accommodates a reference library with around twenty thousand books and photo exhibition focusing on Gandhi’s life. It also houses the ‘Charkha’ that Gandhi used to spin is one of the major attractions.

This house belonged to Revashankar Jagjeevan Jhaveri but in the year 1955 it came under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi for making it as a memorial to Gandhi.

Marine Drive – is a very vibrant and exciting area that offers enjoyment and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life. This is an English alphabet ‘C’ shaped area that stretched over an area of about three kilometers. This naturally formed bay comprises six lanes along the coast of Arabian Sea.

The area of Marine Drive offers some of the most panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and nearby mountains. This is generally referred as the Queens Necklace as it is one of the busiest roads in Mumbai and it is lined with illuminating street lamps pretending like a necklace due to Its ‘C’ shape.

Hanging Gardens – is a terraced garden offering some of the best picturesque views of this dazzling city. This magnificent garden is located on the hills of Malabar offering great retreat for the people looking for some rejuvenating and refreshing break from the busy and tight schedule life of Mumbai.

This garden was named after Ferozeshah Mehta and also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens. Entire garden is covered with a blanket of lush greenery making it one of the most sought after attractions. Another most visited attraction that situated just besides the gardens is Kamala Nehru Park.
