How to Lose Weight Easily
If I were to tell you that losing weight is very easy, will you believe me? You don’t? Then why is it that so many people believe in advertisements that proclaim poping some magical weight loss pills, drink a few bottles detox juices and workout on some home gadgets can make you lose pounds and pounds of fat?
The answer to that is actually pretty simple. It is that most people just want to take the easy way out. They do not want to do anything that requires the slightest bit of work to get rid of their body fat. So the weight loss companies know this for a fact and start espousing how easy it is to lose weight by just using their products and so, people will readily part with their money for these weight loss products that rarely work if they do.
My next question is that if these products worked as well as claimed to be, then why is it that more people are getting fatter and not thinner? If you have tried those “magical weight loss pills” and the likes, you will very well know how well they have worked or don’t.
You would have probably learnt your lesson after being ripped off once or twice and ultimately be immuned to these types of advertisements and products. But it does not matter to those companies as they will come up with more gadgets and pills as there will be many more others willing to fall for the infomercials.
Whatever it is, the simple truth is that losing weight is easy if you do not have any other medical conditions preventing from doing so. All you need to do is to eat less calories and burn more of it in your daily activities and you will start losing weight gradually. It is as simple as that.
One pound of fat is the equivalent of about 3,500 calories. Then will mean that if you cut down your daily caloric consumption by 250 calories, and then ramp up your physical activities by burning another 250 calories, you will then be in a caloric deficit of 500 calories a day. That will mean that you will be losing one pond each week.
Do you see the logic? It is the weight loss advertisers who said that you must spend so much money on your diet pills and workout from home gadgets to lose weight and people simply believe them.
So, the secret to losing weight easily is just to eat less and exercise more. Then eat less and exercise more again and just do these two things repeatedly. The more vigorous your exercises are, the more fat you will burn.
When I said to eat less, I do not mean by skipping meals. This is because your body tends to store fat when you go hungry. It is just your body’s way of protecting you from famine.
So the idea is to eat less unhealthy foods and foods that can make you fat. So eat less fried and oily stuff. Eat less processed foods that come in boxes from the supermarket’s shelves. Drink fewer beverages that contain sugar and have more fibers in your diet in replacement instead.
Then keep moving. Walk or jog instead of taking transportation, use the stairs instead of riding the elevators, take leisurely strolls in the neighborhood instead of sitting in front of your TV crunching away on some snacks. Do anything that requires you to expand energy and burn calories.
If you are up to it, join a gym or a jogging club. Take up martial arts or pilates if that is in your area of interest or even join a dancing class. The idea is to keep yourself moving. Use your imagination and you can come up with many more ways to burn off your fat and lose weight easily.
