I think it’s very important to keep searching until you find that job that will make you happy. Life is way too short to be working a job you hate waking up for. Yes, it’s important to pay the bills, and put food on the table, but it’s also important to be happy.

There are millions of different jobs out there. What are your interests? What would be your dream job? Even if you don’t have a college education, you can still find a job that you would like. Whether you like children, and work at a day care, or you like to be social and you become a receptionist at a nice place, it can happen.

Never settle for less than you deserve. Be honest: Make sure you’re honest throughout your whole application. Don’t like about getting fired, your criminal records, if you’ve never had a job before, and so on. If they catch you already lying, that’s pretty much a guaranteed “no” right from the beginning.

References: If you worked for a company in the past, and they really liked you, make sure you write their names down for references. You never know if they will call your references, and if they do, they of course want to hear great things about you. So, find the people that would talk most highly of you.

As you can see, there are a few different things you can do to make your application really stand out.
