Malta At War Museum

National Museum of Natural History

Run by Heritage Malta, the museum is located in the Magisterial Palace of Justice, and opened to the public in 1973. It focuses especially on birds and plants endemic to Malta, including the national bird, the blue rock thrush, and the national plant, the Maltese centaury. Maritime Museum

National Museum of Archaeology

Located in the Auberge de Provence, which used to be a palace, the impressive setting is nothing compared to the fascinating exhibits inside; including collections from the world-famous Megalithic Temples which date back roughly 5,000 years, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
