It is very easy to clean our Bleacher Shade Covers. Our cover fabric is made from high density Polyethylene (HDPE) and is resistant to dirt, does not retain moisture, and it will not rot or mildew. However, over time exposure to dust and moisture will result in a slightly dirty cover. This type of fabric can be cleaned with a weak concentration of non-abrasive pH neutral detergent in warm water. However, a better cleaning method is to remove the fabric and place it on a clean, flat surface. Then wash it with a high pressure water washer. It will look almost new after this cleaning.

One of the most frequent questions we receive is “How durable are your Bleacher Shade Covers and structures?” Very durable is the answer. The steel columns and frames that support the cover are warranted for 20 years. They are welded at the factory to be watertight and then a powder coat finish is applied to prevent corrosion. The cover fabric is warranted for 10 years against ultraviolet light degradation. And if necessary, the fabric can be easily repaired. All components are designed to withstand 3-second wind gusts of at least 80 miles per hour with the shade cover fabric attached.
