Firstly there is the person who works full time at home for one specific company. If you have specific job related websites that aggregate lots of jobs and bring them together all in one place, put them in a specific folder in the bookmarks section on your computer. All you have to do is to remember to check them each and every day for new leads.

You can also join bidding sites that enable you to find jobs immediately and put in a bid for them. Not everyone likes or needs to use these, but they can be particularly good for beginners as well as more established freelancers.

The important thing to remember is that not all freelancers do the same kind of work. As such you may be looking for a specific audience that will be willing to buy your services. For instance, if you are a web designer you will be sought out by people who want to have a website built for them. But if you are a writer you might be sought out by people who want web content, articles for magazines, press releases and much more besides.

So you see it is vital to know where you will look for work. And when you find those useful links you will be able to make the most of them on a daily basis.
