You should try to avoid taking pictures with a group of people all facing the sun. Instead of doing this, you can take a picture of the subject and have the sun behind him, her or them because it will give you very good hair light and offer you some depth. Do not force people to pose in any weird or awkward way, even if you think it is going to be totally hilarious. Unnatural poses are very annoying and most people appear quite awkward, as well. It is better that you stick to the normal rules of posing and take many natural photographs as possible instead of making people pose purposely in front of the camera.

Also try to avoid taking shots of people from behind because it is not exactly flattering to take pictures of people’s backs. This rules can only be violated or bent if you are taking pictures of babies and toddlers in their natural environment; or if you are snapping certain events in a child’s life that may never occur ever again.

If you are after quality and sophistication, try to avoid all the things mentioned in this article because while many photographers think that doing those things are quite creative of them, they are wrong. Do not make the same mistake and have a great photography future, ahead of you.
