Choose pictures that will give you a sense of inspiration, such as your favorite athlete or sports teams. Don’t put expensive paintings or other decorations up. They could disappear.

If you replace anything that comes with the room, such as curtains, make sure you keep the originals in good shape. This could also include dresser drawer pulls, curtain rods, light switches, and the like. You don’t want to be charged for losing a dingy old pair of curtains!
