Christmas is coming soon, and there are so many things to think of! Coming up with original gift ideas for everyone each year is challenging. If you are having trouble figuring out what to get for those special people in your life, here are some of this year’s hottest gifts.

Nintendo Wii. Though maybe not as popular as last year, a Nintendo Wii is still a cool gift for anyone who doesn’t already have one. One cool thing about it is that you don’t just get a present for one person, but for his/her whole family. There are awesome games available for it, and Wii is preparing to release a new Super Mario!

Digital camera. Anyone who doesn’t already have one needs one. It is also an area where technology is developing very fast, and prices for compact cameras are decreasing. You can buy a decent one with lots of features for less than $100.

New iPod. An iPod is a great gift for people who enjoy listening to music, especially as Apple has just launched new versions for all of its models. And you may get an iPod Shuffle for less than $50.

Accessories. For someone who is almost obsessed with something, you can always buy a gift related to that and you can be sure it will be highly appreciated. For instance, if they spend much time on their PC, you can get them some computer accessories. Or if they like to play the guitar, buy them something for that.

DVD specials. Is the person you are buying the present for
really into a certain TV series or movie? Great, then you may buy them the latest DVD collection, or a collector’s edition. For actual movie fans, special editions or editions with added footage are a really nice gift.

Gift basket. A personalized gift basket is a great idea, but you have to put some effort into it. The simpler way to go is to fill a fancy-looking basket with their favorite treats. But if you want to go a little further, you might fill it with things around their hobbies, or things that they collect.

Vacation package. For someone who has been really busy and is longing for a getaway, this is a terrific present. But you should know the person well enough to know their schedule. If it’s someone close such as your parents, an even better idea is to get a trip for all of you.

Scrapbook with memories. This is a great idea for someone you share a lot of beautiful memories with. You have to put some thought and effort into it, but it could be so enjoyable that you might even want to keep it. And you can be certain that the other person will love it.

Gift certificate. If nothing else seems right, a gift certificate to their favorite shop is always a good solution, and there is no way you can go wrong.
